About the council

We're inviting a small group of CPAs, EAs and tax professionals who advise business owners on the S election to spend an afternoon with us. We'll talk about what you're seeing with clients and how you decide when the election makes sense. Afterward, we'll turn the conversation into three short guides. Credit is up to you, and you'll approve everything before it's published.

5 to 10 membersBy invitation only

One afternoon, onlineThree hours on December 1

Three guidesWritten from the session. Credit is optional.

The session

Plenty of owners now walk into their accountant's office already sure the S election will save them money. Often they haven't thought about payroll, state taxes, or what a reasonable salary means for them. The accountants who sort this out with clients every day are mostly missing from the public conversation, and we'd like to change that.

We'll talk about what you're seeing, when you bring up the S election with a client, and how you work out whether it's worth it. Near the end, we'll show you WageProof's reasonable compensation method and ask what you'd change.

Questions

Who else is invited?

Five to ten CPAs, EAs and tax professionals who advise owners on the S election. We'll list everyone here once they've confirmed.

Is this a sales pitch?

No. About 20 minutes of the three hours is a look at WageProof, and we want your honest opinion of it. The rest is about your work.

Do I have to be credited?

No. Credit is optional. Either way, you'll get final approval on everything we publish from the session.

Will the session be recorded?

Yes, with an AI notetaker, so we have good notes for the guides. We'd only use a clip publicly with your OK.

Do I have to post about it?

No. If you do, please mention that WageProof gave you the account or the honorarium.

What happens after December 1?

We write the three guides and send you the drafts for final approval. Nothing goes out until you've signed off. Founding members also help decide whether the council meets again.
